Making the right food choices is important but don´t be obsessed with it.
Follow the 80/20 rule: eat nutritious home-made meals 80% of the time and leave 20% for little treats and cases when you can´t totally control the situation. It means it’s ok to eat a cake at your friend’s birthday party. But only do it if you really want it and not because everyone else does it or if you are simply bored. And if you decide to treat yourself, do it mindfully and savor every piece without any stress or guilt.
